About
I’m a strategy and operations leader, leadership coach, strategic consultant, and speaker with a passion for helping leaders and businesses thrive in complexity. Whether guiding organizations through pivotal growth moments, supporting small businesses with strategic planning, or coaching leaders to step into their potential, I bring energy, curiosity, and a commitment to lasting impact.
One Million Leaders Project
My mission? To help one million people become better leaders—because better leaders make a better world.
I am fascinated by the role good leadership plays to improve our daily lives, to dismantle systems of oppression, and to help us all see and appreciate our humanity.
I set a personal goal to help one million people become better leaders. That goal is a thread through everything I do, not just my working life. It shows up in my current leadership role, my community engagement, my family and my speaking, coaching and consulting.
My Professional Background:
For more than 15 years, I’ve honed my craft of strategy development, operational planning, and talent maximization for purpose-driven enterprises.
I currently lead Field Marketing and Events at RapidSOS, the world’s leading safety intelligence platform, but before joining the tech industry, I held various leadership positions at REI, K2 Sports (now Elevate Outdoor Collective), Modern Adventure.
I’ve built and managed complex, multi-million dollar budgets and led significant transformation efforts to support scale, growth, and the employee experience. I thrive wearing multiple hats and consider myself an jack-of-all-trades. Marketing, operations, human resources, strategy, program development, change transformation and brand development, are all areas I’ve successfully led.
I’m also an accomplished people leader with experience leading remote and in-person teams as large as 150+ or as small as seven. With my passion for employee development, I’ve promoted, coached and mentored countless team members and built team culture based on empathy, resilience, and excellence.
My Perspective on Leadership
I am energized by the challenges and opportunities that come with being in a position of influence. My leadership journey has afforded me the opportunity to grow in tremendous ways and make a deep impact. Leadership requires me to lean into discomfort, manage tensions between opposing forces and build connections with diverse audiences — all to drive bold results.
Beyond the Career
I get my best ideas spending time in nature hiking, backpacking, kayaking, mountain biking, walking, reading, writing, thinking or connecting with others. My husband and I love taking our two little girls on adventures in the Pacific Northwest where we live. My two girls were counted as the first two members of my one-million-leaders goal. They are the next generation of leaders.
